Expired Build A Basketball Team Codes

Roblox promo codes in Early Beta rarely ship with a public countdown timer. Bloxive Studios can disable a string server-side after an event ends, a milestone passes, or a new code wave replaces the old bundle. This page tracks expired Build A Basketball Team codes separately from the Codes hub so you know what no longer works without scrolling past active rewards.

As of July 30, 2026, we have no confirmed expired codes to list. The active bundle — tuff, thx, and Update — still redeems on live servers and was refreshed in community reporting around July 25, 2026 (including coverage on Destructoid). Expired codes table

We add rows here only after independent confirmation that a code fails for new redemptions on live accounts (not merely one typo report on social media).

When the first code retires, this table becomes the historical record. We also note the change on Updates if the rotation affects many players at once.

How we decide a code is expired

We do not remove codes from the active hub because a single player failed redemption. Our retirement checklist:

1. Multiple reports — At least two independent accounts or one official Bloxive message stating the code ended.
2. Live retest — A wiki contributor redeems on a fresh alt or confirms “already claimed” versus “invalid code” on an account that never used the string.
3. Cross-source check — Roblox game description edits, studio announcements, or patch-day posts align with the failure.
4. Active hub update — Remove the string from Codes the same day we add it here.
5. Updates note — Log the rotation on Updates or a dedicated child page if the economy shift is large.

“Invalid code” on an account that already redeemed the string is not expiry — that is the normal one-time-per-account rule documented in the Codes hub FAQ.

Why expired tracking matters in Early Beta

Build A Basketball Team adds codes often, sometimes described as daily in the Roblox game text. That pace creates search clutter:

• Outdated blog posts list dead strings next to live ones.
• Fan Trellos copy tables without removal dates.
• YouTube descriptions recycle codes from launch week.

A dedicated expired page lets you verify failure is expected instead of debugging typos for ten minutes. It also preserves history — when tuff eventually retires, you will see what it used to grant without guessing.

What to do when a code stops working

If an active hub code fails:

1. Check spelling and case — Update requires a capital U; tuff and thx are lowercase.
2. Confirm one-time use — Already claimed codes error on second redemption.
3. Retry after patch — Rare server glitches right after updates can block redemption briefly; wait one hour and test again.
4. Compare hubs — If the code appears only on this expired page, it is retired. If it still appears on Codes, the issue is likely account-side.
5. Read How to Get Codes — New strings often drop the same day old ones die.

Do not trust random Discord paste bins that list ten “secret” codes — Early Beta has a small verified set. Our active table stays short on purpose.

How we retire codes on this wiki

When Bloxive disables a string:

• Remove it from the active table on Codes.
• Add a row to the expired table above with former rewards and approximate retirement date.
• Update guides that reference the code by name — Getting Started, Quests, and chase guides like How to Get MVP — so new players are not sent to dead strings.
• Note the change on Updates when multiple codes rotate at once.

We do not mark codes expired based on rumors or datamines alone. Empty expired tables are normal early in beta when the first code wave has not rotated yet.

Code expiry versus game updates

Code rotations sometimes coincide with patches but are not the same thing. A balance update can ship without touching promo strings; conversely, a new Update-style code can appear without a version number bump on the Roblox page.

Track both:

• Updates — Mechanics, quest text, chemistry tuning, UI moves.
• This page + Codes — Promo economy only.

The July 2026 code wave documented on Destructoid (July 25) still matched live redemption on July 30 in our checks — no entries moved to expired yet.
